Real-time event processing and system integration for a multi-tenant platform serving telco and banking clients across several countries. Spring Boot REST and SOAP services. Custom Kafka topic managers, producers, consumers and listeners feeding a live campaign engine. Oracle PL/SQL tuned for high-volume workloads.

Analytics platform ingesting approximately 2 billion call detail records per day across 200M+ mobile subscribers. Built the ingestion and processing pipeline, plus churn prediction and revenue analysis models.

Travel Disruption Notifier

A multi-tenant service that turns structured disruption data into ready-to-send customer notifications for flight, hotel and car bookings. Per-session brand injection for white-label output, parseable XML, 28-case automated evaluation suite, production cost and reliability patterns.

Third-party integrations

Payment, CRM, communications, accounting and ERP systems wired into your product. Authentication, retries, rate limits, error handling and observability — built for production, not for a demo.

Event pipelines & webhooks

Kafka producers, consumers and topic management. Webhook delivery with retry, replay, ordering and idempotency. Built so a failed message is recoverable rather than lost.

System-to-system data sync

Bidirectional sync with conflict resolution. Bulk import and export. Legacy SOAP bridged to modern REST — still common in enterprise, increasingly rare as a skill.

Legacy modernisation

Moving older applications onto service-oriented architectures without stopping the business. Done at production scale since 2008.

What time zones do you work?

Pakistan-based, flexible across time zones. Typical overlap with US, UK, and EU teams is 3–4 hours per day; more by arrangement. Async-first by default — most engagements run on shared docs and weekly syncs.

How do you handle IP and confidentiality?

NDA on request. Client work is treated as confidential by default. Code IP transfers to the client on payment, unless the engagement letter specifies otherwise. Sample SOW available on call.

What engagement formats do you offer?

Two. A fixed-scope integration build with defined deliverables and milestone billing, or a monthly capacity retainer for teams with an ongoing backlog. Most clients start with a single build.

How do engagements usually start?

With one integration. Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before work begins. If it goes well, most teams move to a retainer — but nothing is committed up front.

Solvic Labs is the consulting practice of Abdul Wadood — a senior backend engineer based in Pakistan with 18 years of production experience.

Most of eighteen years has been spent building systems for clients whose requirements kept moving. That shapes how I build integrations: designed to absorb the next change, not just satisfy the current spec.

The career anchor is Java and Spring Boot. Built telecom backend systems from 2009 to 2013 at System Research, Techaccess, and Interactive Group, where the end clients were telco operators. Middle years (2019–2022) in PHP and Laravel. Returned to enterprise Java in 2022 at Techfinity SI Solutions, where the primary engagement is EVAM — a marketing-technology platform serving telco and banking clients across multiple countries.

Modern frontend (Next.js, React) is self-taught and portfolio-backed.
